If you’ve ever watched a video where the camera seems to glide through time, weaving through streets, buildings, or a breathtaking lobby—you’ve probably seen a Hyperlapse.

And if you’ve ever caught yourself saying, “Wow, how did they do that?”…you’re not alone.

What Is a Hyperlapse Video?

A Hyperlapse is a type of Timelapse—but with motion. Instead of keeping the camera in one place (like with traditional Timelapse), the camera moves between each shot. This creates a cinematic, flowing effect that feels like you’re flying through space as time speeds up. In short:

Timelapse = time moves Hyperlapse = time and space move

Moving the camera makes post production mandatory as there will be a change in perspective between each shot. Check this YouTube tutorial which shows how this is done using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Why Clients Love It

Hyperlapse isn’t just cool—it’s incredibly effective. Here’s why my clients use it:

Hotels want to showcase their space with energy and elegance

Real estate developers need scroll-stopping visuals to market properties

Construction firms want to impress stakeholders with dynamic updates

Camera brands crave beautiful, technical visuals to showcase gear.

The Magic of Motion

There’s a difference between seeing a building……and moving through it while it comes to life. That’s what Hyperlapse does. It brings motion to still spaces. It creates emotional reactions. And it’s perfect for social media, websites, investor decks, and brand stories.
